If they really want to keep hardcore raiders from "being forced" to run LFR then they should make it share a lockout with Normal and Heroic modes. Sure those people will still feel obligated for a week or two but then they're gonna stay away from it in favor of something better.

Note that this does not retroactively fix the issue, only prospectively. In other words, if you do it with a guild or static, you'll need to PUG it all over again on Normal/Heroic/Mythic to have a shot at loot you already earned.

Check the lockout notice carefully to make sure your desired boss is still alive and then accept the lockout.
